I consider myself a visual alchemist. From my workshop in the city of Aveiro, Portugal, I produce works that seek to exalt the greatness of the human spirit, evoking ancient hermetic sciences and intertwining them with elements such as contemporary science, social, and political issues. My favorite techniques for creation are oil painting, printmaking, and more recently watercolor, although I see myself in a constant search for means that allow me to have the impact I desire in my works.
